How Tesco could lead on service design


The project showcased how Tesco could use digital channels to make online grocery shopping a service for better living, for both existing customers and attracting new customers, through freshness, quality and service innovation.

Working collaboratively with the client and a small design led team, meant the project was researched, designed and delivered within two weeks.

Defining the new colour palette
Scan a product in store to view it's journey (farm to fork)
Add ingredients using a browser toolbar
Educate users about food waste
Give Tesco a face whilst educating users about produce
Help with the planning by pulling data in from social media
Get to know the people working to bring customers the best quality food at every step of the journey
